Q: Is there a cancellation policy?
A: Private water taxi bookings can be cancelled for free (14) days prior to the date of travel for a full refund, thereafter booking are non-refundable. Private water taxi can be rescheduled based on availability, please provide us with 72 hours prior notice to the date of your water taxi booking/trip. In the unlikely event of inclement weather and we are unable to serve you, a full refund will be processed. We highly recommend that you have travel insurance if your flight is cancelled or delayed. Sensation also reserves the right to change/modify the route without notice, due to weather or safety concerns.
Q: What does the private water taxi service include?
A: If you have selected our door to door all-inclusive service, everything is included, Certified Licensed captain, insured carrier, all BVI and USVI Fee's, onboard complementary refreshments and snacks.
Q: Are the BVI/USVI Processing Fees included in our prices?
A: Yes, they are included in our complete online booking system. Processing Fees are payable for inbound and outbound water taxi transfers and is included in your water taxi online booking process. List of processing fee's which they cover, USVI/BVI Customs Clearance In and Out, St. Thomas dockage fee, BVI Harbour Charges, Cruising Permits, Environmental Levi Fee, BVI/USVI Port Departure Passenger Tax's.
Q: Is ground transportation included in the price you have provided?
A: During the online booking process you can select service to/from Red Hook or the Cyril E King Airport. If you have selected the airport private ground transportation is included in your transfer this is highly recommended, so you're not sitting in a cab making several stops. A full complete quote is given for review before you check out and book your adventure to paradise.
Q: Types of Complimentary beverages that will be onboard?
A: Onboard complimentary beverages usually include a range of: water, soda's (coke, sprite, ginger ale) and beer.
Q: Times we should be picked up?
A: On arrival into St Thomas Cyril E King Airport your we monitor your flight based on the flight information on your scheduled booking transfer and be there for your arrival. Our driver will be holding a sign with your group leaders name for pick up.
On departure from the BVI based on your flight information provided, pick up time should be around 5-hrs prior to your flight's departure.
Q: Commute time from the Cyril E King airport to your water taxi vessel?
A: Estimated time of arrival to the water taxi departure point is one (1) hour. Inclusive of landing, collecting your luggage, connecting with our driver who will be waiting outside the airport and then shuttle transfer to our vessel.
Q: Time it takes to clear in and out of USVI/BVI Customs and Immigration?
A: It usually takes 20-30minutes, depending on foot traffic & the amount of people in your group.
Q: Water taxi commute time between the USVI and BVI?
A: The average approximate commute time is between 25-30 mins depending on your destination and weather conditions, your safety is always our first priority.

Q: What types of safety equipment are on board your vessels?
A: Our fleet of vessels are fully insured and are operated by licensed, highly trained and vastly experienced captains. Our vessels are up to date and fully inspected by the BVI Shipping Registry annually. Onboard safety equipment includes items such as life jackets, fire extinguishers, flares and first aid kits.
